Every Friday, I will be posting a few of my photography favorites. I basically paparazzi my friends and family. I love "life photography"- capturing moments as they happen. Sometimes, I even muster up landscape or event photography. Each week, I will share a few of the photos I have taken with you. Here are my favorites for this week. Click on any image to enlarge it.
I hope you enjoyed a peek at my photography. I picked up photography as a casual hobby a few years ago, and enjoy capturing memories. I'm just a smidge obsessed with lomo, sepia, cross-processing, and focal blurs/zooms. I started getting into photography for the sake of "life photography" and really just documenting life. I couldn't tell you what f-stop or focal length to use for what, but I can paparazzi a family reunion quite well. Ha! I wanted to get more into photographing daily life after realizing how few photos I had in recent years. I have hardly any photos from 11-12th grade and freshman year. So, I wanted to change that and try to at least take photos of holidays and family reunions/gatherings. Some semesters I'm more into photography than others, but I at least try to get some photos reasonably often. There's definitely a fine balance between capturing life's memories with photography, and living in the moment itself. I try to balance the 2, enjoying the moment as it happens, while taking some photos to remember it by. Photo books are too fun to make!
